Karpagam JCS employs a paperless, electronic submission and evaluation system to promote a rapid turnaround in the peer review process.
JCS will publish both theoretical and experimental papers having prospective to make a significant contribution to the science and technology.
All the papers submitted to JCS for editorial consideration will be scrutinized through single blind peer review so as to ensure standard, quality and originality.
Originality of all the selected articles will be ensured through Turnitin software with maximum 10 % plagiarism.
The Editors first evaluate all manuscripts. In some circumstances it is entirely feasible for an exceptional manuscript to be accepted at this stage. Those rejected at this stage are insufficiently original, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar or English language, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal. Those that meet the minimum criteria are passed on to experts for review. Authors of manuscripts rejected at this stage will be informed within 2 weeks of receipt.
JCS will attempt to complete the review process within 4-10 weeks of the receiving the articles.
Articles under consideration for in Karpagam JCS are sent for evaluation to the reviewers. Reviewers provide comments and often make specific suggestions on how a submission could be improved, which are shared with the authors.
If the article is accepted an undertaking is received from the authors before publication.
